    I saw this at the site the other day, and all I could think was that a person who understood the reference and was capable of making a LOL could have at least checked the dictionary for the correct spelling of the word “Apocalypse.”

    Once a proofreader, always a proofreader.

      I was going to redo and correct the caption but ran out of time so had to go with the original.

      Though inventive letter usage seems to have been with us for quite a while – prompting HL Mencken’s comment that, ““Correct” spelling, indeed, is one of the arts that are far more esteemed by schoolma’ams than by practical men, neck-deep in the heat and agony of the world.”

    Mencken is/was a fool! Correct spellling shows the standards to which the individual reaches. If it is poor then it is a classic illustration of the careless and lackadaisical attitude of the modern child. Lazy!

    But how apt … I can’t hink of a more applicable use for cats than as servants of the Apocalypse!
