Crikey have labelled this the ‘Qantas week from Hell’.
FOUR major ‘incidents’ in the space of four days.
Sadly THIS has NOT been their week from Hell!
That is still to come – what we are seeing happen are simply the harbingers of a MAJOR ‘incident’. It will be a ‘Major Incident’ in corporate-speak from which there will be no, or few, survivors.
That famous Rainman quote could be out of date very soon!
Now that my flying days are past, I am not too worried for me. But my advice to those who are flying anywhere, think hard about what is happening to Qantas. And think about alternatives!
Perhaps the CEO’s passport should be confiscated in preparation for future multiple charges of culpable manslaughter.
