A Bit of Perth

Western Australia is a big place.

So big and so empty that almost all the mine sites in the North and East of the state are run by “Fly-in, Fly-out” workers. To handle the number of workers who fly off from their families for two weeks on and then return for two weeks off, around a hundred plane movements are required each week day.

The commuter plane has become very much a Bit of Perth.
