Thanks everyone. The photo was taken here in Perth yesterday and the words were written about a decade ago – They seemed to go together, especially as the magpie looks a little sad 🙂

I haven’t seen a magpie like that ours are black and white and very handsome, but the plumage is different than the one in the picture.
