Photo Hunt #112; A Part of Myself

Once again a very difficult subject.

So many parts, so few photos. I rarely take images of myself.

So this week, after much reflection and cogitation, I chose a very important part of myself.

Without this part I would be unable to do many of the things which makes me human.

My opposable thumb. Grasping at the intangible.

  6. ooo….that’s a VERY important part indeed!!! i remember hurting my thumb the other day n boy, i had so much trouble doing stuff. who would have thought pulling my pants up would be so tough without using my thumb….these hands are VERY precious!!

  11. That’s an excellent photo! I love the clarity of light and shadow against the distant trees. Never mind the importance of the (vital) opposable thumb, this is a great shot.

  35. Rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise and it looks like the south side of a tail-less horny rhinoceros facing north that’s missing one important part of its anatomy. I’m outta here.
