Back in the mid-1990’s we had Pauline Hanson appear out of nowhere. Sorry, Ipswich. It was her policies which led John Howard to take Bob Menzies’ Liberal Party to those far places in the political universe where no Liberal Party had ever gone before.

Hanson was able to drag out all the hidden racism and hate within Australia. As far as I know, ASIO has never thanked her for doing their job of exposing these potential dangers to society.

Tony Abbott had the answer to her policies and her apparently powerful new political force, the gloriously mis-named One Australia Party. He created a slush fund and conspired to send her to jail.

Now we have another Queenslander, Bob Katter.

Founder of the egotistically named  “Katter’s Australia Party”.  Created to promote Bob’s vision for Australia.

Excepting that, as Zanotti has seen, it is being hijacked by a new generation of the nutters who infiltrated Pauline Hanson’s vision.

A candidate for Bob Katter’s fledgling political party declared his preference for buying ”guaranteed non-halal meat” so his money does not ”go to the Muslim community”.

Jamie Cavanough, who is standing for Katter’s Australian Party in Sydney’s most marginal federal seat, Greenway, is under fire for the apparently divisive comments he made to a community forum in one of the city’s most ethnically diverse areas.

They emerged a day after a Katter candidate in Victoria, Tess Corbett, sparked outrage by likening homosexuals to paedophiles, saying they should be kept out of the classroom.

So those who destroyed the One Australia Party are alive an well and living under Bob’s hat. This crop of nutters is so much more refined that the outright racists who flocked to Hanson’s banner. Some of them can tell the difference between XXXX and WestEnd beers – BLIND-FOLDED! This new skill means they can smell and taste the Halal in their food. And they DON’T like it!

The KAP seems likely to attract sufficient votes to win several senate seats and possibly one or two swinging HoR seats in imitation of the OAP.

The question we need to ask is will Tony Abbott, either by his own hand or by giving instructions to an acolyte, set up another slush fund. Aiming to cut off the head (with hat) of the leader of the Party. The Right Wing Mafia do not like Right Wing opponents and their Godfather has experience in dealing with them.

As well as taking their policies as their own.
