The Bloke in the Pub #10

Hiya Arch. Been bloody hot today and moreJohn of it to come! It’s so hot I’ll even drink one of your Matilda Bays.

Thanks. See the Greens are starting to grow up. Changing their rules so they can negotiate in Parliament. That has been the thing that has bugged me about them. They were not able to change their official policy on refugees because of those rigid party rules and we ended up with the worst possible outcome. The ALP has solid rules as well but some leeway is given to its parliamentary wing.

Politics is the art of the possible and sometimes you can’t get everything you want no matter how much you bullshit. So being able to have a fall-back position is great. Now that the Greens are an important part of our political scene, they need to start looking like a real party. After all, in around a decade, they will be forming an official coalition with the ALP and ten years after that they will be leading the coalition of the left.

Yep, that one is empty, thanks, I’ll have another.

And Malcolm is starting his push to get rid of Abbott? I wonder if he will keep that Julie Bed-hopper as his deputy this time.

He was talking today about how fucking easy it is to lie these days. The lie gets out there and any retraction is bloody months later and buried on page 37! Thomson, Slipper, AWU. All lies, all with no questions being asked. Abbott will finally be caught on his own lies. Although I don’t think that fuckwit bankster Turnbull will be much better. He lost his job the first time round because of a lie and a plot and being found out.

All these plots and lies coming out of Abbott’s office are aimed at bringing down a Government. In many countries that would carry a death sentence and if that Abbott bastard had brown skin he would be called for what he is. A terrorist! Although most of those activists who do have brown skin are freedom fighters against puppet governments propped up by those flaming yanks.

Yeah, thanks, mate. Thirsty day today. Going to last all through the weekend, I hear.

Hey, did you hear that a Swiss insurance company is busy complaining about the growing costs of weather disasters. And that there is clear evidence that us humans are helping those disasters to happen! They also reckon it may be too late to save things!

Ah well, all I can do is apologise to the kids and grandkids and hope some of them survive what is coming.

In the meantime, can I grab some of those tomatoes that are ripening on your bush? The missus is making a salad tonight and I reckon those will fit in a treat.

Thanks mate. Seeya tomorrow,

  1. How come this old bastard manages to get to the real core of most of these horror stories? How come he knows that all the lies were from one side and that the media didn’t know. Or if they did then they didn’t do their right job and tell the public???!
