Looking across our salt lake at just that moment when sunset turns the high wispy clouds yellow. Two minutes ago they were white, in another two minutes they will be orange, on their way to being pink. But right now, they are yellow.

Oh dear. There I was taking in a perfectly beautiful, if a little garish, sunset in the desert. Hundreds of Kilometres from anywhere. Suddenly there is something wrong with Nature’s composition. Eventually all calmed down and I got the shot I wanted.
