On a visit to Coral Bay, I needed to know where the boats were launched.
I had been told that it was “out on the point”.
I got a little confused and lost my way.
So I asked a little Welcome Swallow where I should go and he pointed me in the right direction.
After thanking him, I turned left and there was the point.

Amazing shots! I love the first one. It does look as if the sparrow was guiding you.
I am brought back by your bird picture to over 40 years ago at the end of my year in Florence, Italy, when my friend and I were waiting for a bus. A possibly misguided Italian woman asked us for directions. Why she asked two obviously non-locals for directions is why she was possibly misguided. We provided the directions for her perfectly, however.
My reaction to the bird is her reaction to us–surprised that we understood the question and doubly surprised that we could show her the way.
