I spend a bit of time on Honjii’s blog.
She is a dab hand at playing with Photoshop and I may steal more of her evil doings.
She also writes some very powerful rants. The sort of rant I once thought I could write.
And she finds some of the most powerful stuff on the internet.
If you are ready to be hit by a sledgehammer, take a look at Andrea Gibson at the 2006 poetry slam.
And remember that this was two years ago. How much more human misery has been caused during that two years by the recalcitrant wilfulness of the current American mal-administration?
Unwarranted sexist assumptions about Honjii corrected and forgiveness requested

Archie,
First off, thank you for the compliments. I’m flattered.
I should point out that you are not the first to make this mistake, and probably not the last. It is often assumed that I, Honjii, am a he when in fact I am in possession of two x chromosomes which makes me a she. That I am so often mistaken for a he makes me wonder if it is an assumption that might have a bit of sexism behind it, because as you point out, “…writes some very powerful rants” and power is associated with maleness.
Now that you know I’m not a he, but a petite yetpowerful she, I hope you won’t hold it against me.
Corrections and apology made – I think I made the mistake, not from the content of your blog, but from the icon/atavar which strikes me as male-ish. I remember wondering about gender the first time I visited your blog. Now I have to reorganise my perma-set brain and file you amongst the ladies I admire. Oh dear, now I am hearing the Bellamy Brothers singing a song – - – double
Oh, bugger! I am SOOO sick of this! Every time I want to watch one of these vids (and I DO!) it gets to about 30 seconds into the download and freezes! Happens every time … sometimes it’s 30 second, sometimes just over a minute, sometimes even only 10 seconds. Whatever, it is extremely annoying and frustrating. The little circle thingy in the middle of the screen just keeps going round and round and nothing further happens. Why, why, WHY???
I’m not sure what to suggest here – I had a similar problem some time ago but I cannot remember what I did that made it go away.
Buff, that happened to me recently and rebooting the computer helped.
