The incredibly able (and obviously easily fooled
) Kim from Laketrees has given me an award she received from Kris @ Art & Clairvoyance .
For excellent poets and writers.
Wow! I did not expect to be included in such a list.
So, at the risk of offending some who miss out, I am passing it on to six deserving bloggers.
The humorous Linda from the Back Nine.
The amazing Litlove whose Tales From The Reading Room are essential reading.
The wonderfully talented David for his Very Short Novels.
The delightful Bloglily.
The sadly distracted but exceptionally readable Reed for her “Out of Ideas”
The totally twisted Renal Failure.

Thanks Dorid
Oh how lovely is that! I’m just catching up on the blog posts I’ve been missing this week and this is such a boost! Thank you Archie, dear, and your own award is richly deserved, if I may say so!
Thank you, dear Litlove. You are still essential reading.
Thanks Archie. We’ll be sure to keep on twisting.
Just dont let the half cyborg cat take over!
haa… Archie!
….. I know you know you are a poet…..and I know that you are an excellent poet…
easily fooled am I???
Congratulations!
And to you
Not at all surprising and very much deserved, my friend.
Congo rats!
I thank you. I still feel a beginner at this and am not sure why it seems to work
False modesty (false anything!) is the last thing I would expect from you, Archie, so your modesty must be genuine, but really, you shouldn’t be surprised to be awarded. Congratulations, and thank you for passing it along. I’ll try not to stumble with the baton.
I really do feel that anything I write that works is an accident and that I will never be able to do it again. I once commented on Litloves blog about depression and successful writing. It is always a surprise to be recognised.
I still don’t understand how limericks can be classified as poetry, even if they do rhyme! No … seriously, I do like your poetry. Especially “Running in circles” and things like that … although I’m not sure about the arboreal (herboreal ?) ones.
Poetry can be a moveable feast
The arboreal ones are simply an attempt to remove an excess of alliteration from some of my wonderfully worthy word work which will wreck it.
Archie, I’m thrilled! For those days when I feel anything but delightful, I can now sweep my hand in the direction of my computer and say, “Ah, darlings, remember the day when the funniest guy in the blogworld called me delightful?”What a pick-me-up that is! xo, L
“Pick-me-ups” are good. And you deserve it. Your blog is a delight of posts.

I’ve been out of town so was late reading the news. I’d rather have the exxy than the grammy … the emmy … the oscar. And I shall pass it on with pride. Much obliged. my favorite thorny devil.
I’m happy to give some credit where it is due. You have a wonderful blog.
